Dry season: conditions are particularly good for trekking to see mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, wildlife viewing is at it’s peak. November usually has more rainfall.

The ideal times to visit Rwanda are from June to August and December to February, coinciding with the dry seasons. This is when wildlife viewing is at its best. Primate walks in the forests are a significant highlight of any Ugandan safari. While the rainforest habitat is inherently wet and rain is inevitable, heavy showers are often followed by bright sunshine.
