A typical
Safari day

6am

Your day begins early, often before sunrise, with a gentle wake-up call at your lodge or tented camp. The early start maximizes your chances of seeing the most wildlife, as many animals are most active during the cooler temperatures of the early morning.

10am

Midway through the drive, there's often a stop for coffee and tea, served in the midst of the wilderness. It's a serene moment to soak in your surroundings.

Noon

Upon returning to camp, a hearty brunch awaits, often served buffet style, with a selection of hot and cold dishes. After brunch, there's time to relax at your lodge or camp. You might take a nap, enjoy a book, or cool off in a plunge pool overlooking the savannah.

3pm

Before the afternoon game drive, there's usually afternoon tea with snacks to energize you for the next adventure.

4pm

The afternoon safari ventures out as the day cools, seeking different sights. This drive often lasts until sunset, offering dramatic landscapes and wildlife silhouettes against the setting sun. Around 6pm, the highlight is the "sundowner" stop, where you'll enjoy cocktails and snacks in a scenic location as the sun dips below the horizon.

7pm

As darkness falls, you return to camp, sometimes with a brief night drive using spotlights to catch glimpses of nocturnal creatures. Dinner is a social affair, either served in the dining area or under the stars. Meals are often accompanied by stories of the day's sightings and experiences. The day might end with time around a campfire, reflecting on the day's adventures and the timeless beauty of the African wilderness.
