A gentle knock and a tray of tea or coffee arrive at your tent as the sky begins to lighten. You sip slowly, wrapped against the cool air, watching the first colour spread over the plains before the day begins.
Your game drive sets out before sunrise. The early start maximises your chances of seeing the most wildlife, as many animals are most active during the cooler temperatures of the early morning.
The morning builds to its peak. You find yourself in the thick of it — a pride at rest in the grass, a herd moving down to water, or a leopard draped in the branches above. Your guide cuts the engine and you simply watch, close enough to hear every sound of the bush.

The highlight of the evening is the sundowner — a stop in a scenic spot where you step out for cocktails and snacks as the sun dips below the horizon and the sky turns to fire.
As darkness falls you return to camp, sometimes with a brief night drive using spotlights to catch glimpses of nocturnal creatures. Dinner is a social affair — served in the dining area or beneath the stars — accompanied by fine wine and the first stories of the day’s sightings.
